Generation Development Group is a community developer and consulting firm. Our focus is to continuously provide innovative and resilient housing solutions. The goal with every engagement is to create transformational communities that are activated through thoughtful design and integration with the neighborhood.
Who We Are
Housing is only one part of a more complex neighborhood solution. We believe success should be measured by the number of ways we can holistically improve lives.
We believe the best solution always begins with listening to stakeholders. Hearing directly from our clients allows us to begin building lasting relationships.
After hearing from our clients, our team works to identify neighborhood assets and underlying challenges that the community may face.
Working together, we design & develop a solution that is tailored to your community and building up its resiliency.
We work with communities to attract investment capital and other resources necessary to make the solution a reality.

In 1963, Silo City was decommissioned from the operation and has dwelt vacant for half a century. Now reinvented as a space for creatives, Silo City hosts Buffalo’s creative community of photographers, musicians, and artists of all types. Our challenge? To add housing options accessible to creatives from all walks of life while maintaining the existing culture.
